Qs. Is it not enough to believe in God? Why should one make efforts to know about God and realise Him when one is living a happy life without that?

  1. Though one can live a happy life without seeing or realizing GOD, but in reality happiness and satisfaction are too different things. A Person needs satisfaction which in turn brings true happiness. a happy life can never be assured of due to various odd-even circumstances of life. But after God's realization Satisfactory living is assured be it in any circumstance. therefore this level of Ananda & bliss can not be acheived by mere beleiving , rather move ahead and experience the truth of life, either GOD, the supreme within

  2. I think, life can be happier than what it is now, if we happen to know about the technique to see God... After all, if by believing in Him we feel good and protected, then obviously if we See Him too, it will improve the situation further

  3. There are two things I encountered in this question at d first go..Firstly, believing n secondly already leading a happy life..
So,I m sorry to say but u can’t believe in sumone till u don’t know dat person n so is..how can we completely believe (surrender our complete faith) in God, if we don’t know him..
And God is said to be SAT-CHIT-ANAND so why satisfy ourselves with Happiness which is not perpetual when Bliss (dat perpetual state where no happiness,no sorrow but Anand-d bliss) can be encountered..
So,rise above Happiness…..And Live fully making him ur real confidante..

May be I might sound a bit philosophical, but I really want to write, my heart feels like & what all I have been able to learn, experience in the journey called life.

I believe every human being in life has a mission to accomplish & his final mission is to get assimilated in what is called "Divya Jyoti". Till he accomplishes the same, he will keep on coming to earth (re-birth) in some form or the other & the cycle of re-birth goes on.

Coming back to the question, Is it not enough to believe in God?
I feel it is the first indicator to the right step. If we believe in GOD, we atleast believe there is something "Divine" which is controlling us, Some supreme power & this leads to the generation of faith & inquistiveness to know more about GOD. In the process, we might come across a Guru, which will put us on the right path, though the path has to be traversed by the person himself. As they say, "Guru ke Bina Moksh nahee"

    Coming to the second question
Why should one make efforts to know about God and realise Him when one is living a happy life without that?

I believe if one can answer this question, means the person knows the purpose of his existence & why this blessed "Manav Tan" was offered to him ( I say blessed coz Manav Tan is obtained by a lot of good deeds done in the past births) , coz it is one & only medium through which one can realize GOD & attain Moksha. We need to realize him & get assimilated in the Divinie Jyoti, to be freed from the so called Chakras of life, otherwise we will keep on getting reborn in some form or another.
So I believe, one should make the most out of this "Manav Tan" & try to attain Mokhsa :) .
